We know that it works. As the case may be, it floats.
Carnival Cruise Line achieved an important milestone when it put its newest vessel, Carnival Jubilee out of dry dock and into the water in Germany for the first.
You won’t miss it when it starts to sail. A giant Texas star is located on the bow of the Excel class ship.
The Texas star on the bow of Carnival Jubilee is a symbol of Carnival’s commitment to Galveston. We have a long-standing relationship with Galveston as the first cruise line that sails year-round. Our next new ship represents our latest investment to support the impressive growth of the local economies while providing innovative experiences for our customers,” said Christine Duffy in a press release. “I look forward to Carnival Jubilee displaying her Texas pride later this year.”
Next, the ship will be put out on the open sea. The November sea trials are planned.
Carnival Jubilee features BOLT: The Ultimate Seacoaster – one of only a few roller coasters available at sea. It also has a half dozen fun-filled zones – two of them are unique to the vessel and celebrate the ocean. The ship will offer a wide range of entertainment, dining and beverage options.
The ship will be sailing year-round in the Western Caribbean, beginning late December. This is not the first Carnival Jubilee that has sailed from Galveston. The ship’s name is a classic Carnival ship. In 2002, the first Carnival Jubilee left Galveston. The new Carnival Jubilee has four times the size of its predecessor.
